Because being honest can be “mean”.
But lying is also mean, isn’t it?
So white lies are mean, because they’re still lies and they still hurt.
But aren’t white lies also being fake?
And it goes on.
I am always so conflicted when it comes to things like this. I think honesty ranks highest…

What’s the cure for loneliness besides social interaction? Sometimes grad school is just not the place for someone like me. I know I have the social skills to make friends. I even do have some good friends here. But it’s just not the same as it used to be.
