Because being honest can be “mean”.
But lying is also mean, isn’t it?
So white lies are mean, because they’re still lies and they still hurt.
But aren’t white lies also being fake?
And it goes on.
I am always so conflicted when it comes to things like this. I think honesty ranks highest…
